He music was loud, the laughter was loud, the food and drink were flowing freely, everyone was having a great time. Bart and Milhouse ran around the large room, it was relatively dark but it just added to the fun. They were on a tasting mission, Bart had suggested they taste as many of the drinks on the table as possible, obviously the adults drinks, the soft drinks they could get whenever they wanted. Milhouse had been up for it at first but soon discovered to his shock the alcohol tasted vile, Bart didn’t seem to mind it however he was drinking it quite freely. Milhouse, not wanting to lose face with his best mate played along and pretended the majority of the time to drink some, if it smelled nice though he did try it.
As the time passed, Milhouse saw the changes in bart, he was not as eager to run, he was getting shorter and shorter of breath, his speech was slurred and his eyes looked glazed, very definite signs of over drinking, bart was not just getting drunk he was drunk, if fact he was worse than. When bart stopped before Milhouse, and slurred some speech to him, Milhouse noticed bart wasn’t looking too cleaver, in fact he looked ghastly, he was pallid, not the usual bubbly self, he looked like death warmed up. I don’t feel too hot, bart complained, you don’t look it either Milhouse replied, and im not overly surprised. You seem fine he said, becoming more and more unsteady in his balance, er er er Milhouse stuttered perhaps I can handle it better or it doesn’t effect me as bad or as quick as you. I don’t care said bart, im going for a sit down.
